To welcome and cheer the new students of NVAC, the school held a social night on July 24, 2021. Observing the protocols under the COVID-19 pandemic, students, teachers and alumni experienced the first social night in 2021. Headed by former student leaders, the night was full of activities such as the traditional number relay and other games. Also the chicken dance was used as an icebreaker as well as marching, the so called vegetarian dance, where old students were obliged to partner with the new ones.
A number of songs were also sang by some old students. In his remarks, Pastor Lani T. Esteves said that it is just normal to be homesick but such feeling may just die down after sometime just like what he experienced when he was yet a new student at NVAC. At the end of the event, snacks were served. The school hoped that the said social night have somehow lessened the new students' homesickness and enjoy the camaraderie among Nagaviewers.
